China Tour

Brighter Green, along with Chinese partner organizations, hosted a series of screenings of What’s For Dinner? in various Chinese cities during the summer of 2014. This successful China Summer Tour was organized by associate Wanqing Zhou, who traveled around China, often joined by director Jian Yi, to share the film.

Some events included a screening of the award-winning film, Vegucated, as well. Both films premiered in China on June 15th in Beijing.

Film Review in GoKunmingGoKunming Reviews What's For Dinner?

What’s For Dinner? was reviewed by Patrick Scally, editor at GoKunming, a news and travel website for Kunming and Yunnan province. A snippet from the article is below. For the full review, click here.

“Despite its short, 28-minute run-time, the documentary manages to raise a host of questions involving health, sustainability, pollution and food scarcity — all of which are fundamental to China’s future. It also provides intimate access to people and places most consumers would otherwise never see.”
